Trimester 1

Distance and Online learning

Distance and online learning components allow students to develop a rich understanding of neurodiversity and best practice standards to inform multifaceted, multisystemic approaches.

In addition, full-day workshops are provided to allow students to develop deeper understanding of neurodiversity in a variety of contexts.

Online resources allow students to work at their own pace during the trimester. This flexible, student-focused approach to course delivery takes account of and caters for time and work pressures experienced by busy professionals

The programme is delivered over two trimesters on a part time basis.

Blended learning is espoused with both synchronous and asynchronous online delivery of theoretical context.

This will consist of a series of two-hour evening sessions with two workshop days.

The 20-credit programme will lead to a Professional Diploma in Neurodiversity with exit options at Professional Certificate (10-credit) level.

Applicants should:

  • Hold an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in Medicine, Nursing, Psychology, Education, Human Resource Management, Leadership or cognate areas
