Ideas for Change - UCD Social Medicine Society

The UCD Social Medicine Society are hosting an inaugural "Ideas for Change" event. This is a competition, where teams of students (2-4) will present their ideas for solving a current issue in Irish healthcare. The subject title is "How do we improve the health of homeless people in Ireland?" The aim of this event is to garner interest in the school for social medicine and to give students an opportunity to explore policy issues.

It will be on Thursday 17th November 2016 from 6:30-8:30pm in the UCD Fitzgerald Debating Chamber, UCD Student Centre, Belfield.
Further information and applications for students can be found on our facebook page:
About the UCD Social Medicine Society
The Social Medicine Society was set up last year to promote social and community medicine in the medical school. This student group organises outreach and educational activities in social and inclusion medicine. We intend to grow the group in time to include interested parties from across the University.

Please note that this event is not organised by the UCD School of Medicine. Details are posted here to help publicise the event. The School does not accept responsibility for any inaccuracies or changes to the event which may occur. Please liaise directly with the event organisers.
