Computational and Molecular Biology Symposium 2016
The Computational & Molecular Biology Symposium 2016 will be held at the Conway Institute of Biomolecular and Biomedical Research in University College Dublin (UCD). It is jointly organised by PhD students from the Bioinformatics and Systems Biology and Computational Infection Biology programs.
This event will showcase the thriving local research and scientific community that is present at UCD and in Dublin to Irish and international academic researchers and industrial companies. It will also feature internationally renowned keynote speakers from a wide range of fields within the sphere of computational and molecular biology to present their research.
The symposium will features keynote lectures from:
- Prof. Chris Ponting
- Prof. Elaine Holmes
- Prof. Aoife McLysaght
- Dr. Alex Bateman
- Dr. Mick Watson
- Martin Krzywinski
- Prof. Francesca Buffa
The organising committee is an international team composed primarily of graduate students studying at the Conway Institute, UCD. We would like to invite all those with an interest in computational and molecular biology to attend. Masters, PhD students and early career researchers are especially encouraged to register, and to submit an abstract for the poster session and talks.
A provisional schedule is available.
