Application for Bachelor of Music Degree (BMus) - Stages 4
If you want to make an application to study Music as a Single Major after completing the BA, you should apply via the following google form:

* Applicants should achieve a GPA of at least 3.2 in music modules. Duration of the Stage 4 BMus is one year.
The form must be submitted by Friday, 28th of June 2024. Queries can be addressed to (opens in a new window)music@ucd.ie. You will be notified on the outcome by email in July.

BMus Stage 4
After completion of a BA degree, students may proceed to a fourth year BMus programme subject to attaining a Stage 2-3 GPA of 3.2 or higher in Music. Application information for the academic year 2024-25 will be announced here in due course.
Core Modules
- MUS31440 4th Year Recital OR MUS31450 Dissertation
Option Modules
Select three of the following:
- MUS31200 Piano Concerto
- MUS31270 Popular Music Ethnography
- MUS31300 Blues and Jazz
- MUS31340 Music Theatre
- MUS31470 Techniques of Composition
Additionally, select two of the Performing Modules.
