At this talk, Chris Doyle, Chief Executive Officer of Spin 1083, and Jamie Crawford, Marketing Manager of Spin 1083, detail and explore the management of a young and vibrant commercial radio station. With a sneak peak into the general management of a radio station which includes strategic planning, advertising, sponsorship deals, and dynamic presenters, the audience will get a sense of the business of broadcast media. And how listenership figures impact on the structure and content of a variety of radio shows. Chris & Jamie will also answer the crucial question - how do radio stations make their money?
