Committee Speakers Contributed
talks (15mins) are invited from participants. Please register your intention
to attend the Journ�es Relativistes and if you propose to deliver a
contributed talk by returning the form below. A conference fee of
�20 is payable on arrival and a further �40 will be requested from
those wishing to attend the conference dinner on Friday evening and to avail
of the lunch and excursion on Saturday afternoon to the renovated Birr
Castle Telescope (for 70 years the world's largest telescope, built by
William Parsons, Third Earl of Rosse, in the 1840's and used by him to
discover the spiral structure of galaxies). Accommodation may be booked at either of the two local hotels, Jurys Montrose (outside the main entrance to UCD) or Stillorgan Park (20mins walk away). Please contact the hotels directly by telephone, e-mail or fax. In the case of the Jurys Montrose quote the reference hoga050901 and for the Stillorgan Park quote the reference Relativity2001 to avail of the special rate offered to participants. On-campus student residences (self-catering, 3/4 bedroom apartments sharing bathroom, lounge etc.) still available at �22 per night per person.
