The Faculty of Arts Postgraduate Colloquium took place on Wednesday, 18 February 2004 in the University Industry Centre, University College Dublin. Sixteen postgraduate students from the Faculty of Arts presented a paper on an aspect of their research.

The Day was divided into four sessions. These sessions were chaired by Dr Marc Caball,
Director of the Irish Research Council for Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr Don Thornhill,
Chairman of the Higher Education Authority, Professor Maurice Boland, Acting
Vice-President for Research and Dr Michael Ryan, Director of the Chester Beatty Library.
