World InterUniversity Games 2006
UCD, Dublin,
9th – 13th October 2006
The 2006 World Interuniversity Games will take place at UCD from 9 to 13 October. The games are open to all Universities and Colleges worldwide and selection is made based upon geographical and historic (results) parameters. Over 1,500 people from more than 28 countries are expected to take part in the games this year.
Men's Football (Soccer), Women's Football (Soccer), Men's Volleyball, Men's Basketbal, Men's Futsal (Indoor Soccer) and a trial tournament Women's Volleyball will all feature in the 2006 World Interuniversity Games.
The official opening ceremony to mark the beginning of the games will take place on Monday 9 October.
