International Day of Women and Girls in Science 2022
International Day of Women and Girls in Science is celebrated every year on 11 February to recognise the critical role women and girls play in science and technology. The Day provides an opportunity to promote full and equal access to and participation in science for women and girls.
At the UCD School of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science, we are immensely proud of our researchers and the world-class research that they produce. To celebrate International Day of Women and Girls in Science 2022, we asked some of our female researchers, past and present, to share their research journeys to date and to offer any advice to other women and girls who may be considering a career in science.
