Quantum and Condensed Matter Theory
Quantum mechanics is one of pillars of modern physics and the School of Physics at UCD hosts an active theory group of researchers working at the forefront of quantum science. We lead UCD's Centre for Quantum Engineering, Science, and Technology. Our interests range from the foundations of quantum mechanics to the modelling and realisation of novel quantum materials.
For more information contact the group leads: (opens in a new window)Ciarán Hickey, (opens in a new window)Nuala Caffrey, (opens in a new window)Steve Campbell, and (opens in a new window)Andrew Mitchell.
