Redundancy Support Initiative

Unfortunately we have seen increased numbers of inquiries from companies and individuals affected by redundancies.

The UCD Professional Academy is putting in place a package of measures to support individuals, teams and organisations undergoing redundancy processes. Our aim is to make upskilling and reskilling as affordable as possible during this difficult time.

You might be an organisation looking to maximise your available resources to offer meaningful upskilling or reskilling to as many staff as possible. Or you might be a member of a team that is affected by redundancy. We will do our best to help you and your colleagues.

The Redundancy Support Initiative is available to*:

• Organisations wishing to offer upskilling or reskilling to staff as part of a redundancy package

• Individuals and teams affected by layoffs who would like to avail of reduced course fees and enhance their CVs

*Please note, to qualify for this initiative, you must have engaged in formal redundancy proceedings in the past month, or be engaging in redundancy within the next two months. Proof of redundancy may be requested.
