Launch of International Survey documenting the Impact of COVID 19 on Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and Caregivers

The UCD Centre for Disability Studies is delighted to announce the launch of our international survey documenting the impact of COVID 19 on individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their caregivers.

Our survey is funded by the Health Research Board and is led by the UCD Centre for Disability Studies where we lead a team of 26 international researchers who are now launching the survey in 19 countries. The survey has full ethical approval and is entirely anonymous. We want to recruit participants who are 18 years or older and are either (1) a family member of a person of any age who has intellectual and developmental disabilities, or (2) a paid staff member supporting a person or persons of any age who has intellectual and developmental disabilities. By participating in this survey, you and others will assist our understanding of the experiences of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and how this experience compares with participants in other countries.

For more information and to take the survey, click here https://tinyurl.com/COVID19IDD We estimate the survey will take about 25 minutes to complete.

We invite you and/or members of your network to take part in the survey and appreciate any assistance you can provide in disseminating news among your network. We are sending out news on twitter from our UCD_CDS account and you could retweet if you felt this is appropriate. Our twitter handle is #COVID19IDD.
