Dr Flavia Santos presents a keynote address at the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine
UCD’s Centre for Disability Studies congratulates our colleague Dr Flavia Santos who delivered a keynote address at the prestigious American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine’s 2019 conference entitled Progress in Rehabilitation Research - Translation to Clinical Practice. The conference took place in Chicago from 5-8 November. Dr Santos’ paper, Attitudes towards Healthy Ageing in People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, was included in a special symposium on Aging with and into Disability: State of The Science and Rehabilitation Implications. Other contributors included Professors Matthew P. Janicki and Tamar Heller. Congratulations Dr Santos!
