PEB = Programme Examination Board
The Online Module Grade Calculator is available to assist module coordinators in calculating the impact potential component grade changes would have on an overall grade.
Please note that module coordinators should no longer use any previous Excel versions of the Module Grade Calculator, as their accuracy is not guaranteed. The Online Module Grade Calculator should be used for any such calculations.
To access the Grade Calculator
- From InfoHub go to Assessment and Grading and select My Module Grades
- Navigate to the Grade Information report of the module for which you wish to check
- Click on Grade Calculator icon on the line of any particular student you wish to calculate an overall module grade for
- Enter the new component grade(s) and Recalculate Final Grade
Note: The calculator does not make any change to the grading record of the student; it is purely a calculation tool.
To hold a Special Programme Examination Board, which falls outside of the standard Grade Approvals Process (GAP), the below excel template needs to be populated and submitted via the below Google Form. Please note that this form needs to be submitted 20 working days prior to the proposed Special Programme Examination Board and can take place no later than 4 weeks prior to relevant Conferral date. This is to ensure that completing students are processed in a timely manner for inclusion in the UCD Conferral Schedule.
Following submission, a member of the Assessment Team will be in contact to confirm the details of your submission. If you need to discuss the above timelines prior to submitting the form, please contact email@example.com.
Note that for Special Programme Exam Boards outside of standard university Grade Approvals Processes:
- we ask for two working days between grades being finliased in Grade Entry and when you wish to review your PEB reporting
- Assessment will commit the grades to academic history based on the modules included in the request. This facility is not available to Module Coordinators outside of standard university Grade Approvals Processes
This section outlines the process for accessing, submitting, and approving exceptional grade change requests.
