Already the Twenty-First Century has seen the emergence of significant challenges to the ways we traditionally envisage business - from the level of the individual enterprise through to that of global markets.
UCD researchers across a range of Schools and Institutes are exploring facets of organisations, regulation and markets and the State beyond crisis. At UCD our research aims to enable Irish businesses that are firmly and globally networked; an Ireland that is attractive to foreign investment; firms in the digital world and in the era of Big Data; organisations that have governance and leadership structures that work to the highest ethical and societal standards and that can withstand economic shocks; and a financial system that can underpin in the long term the economic health of our global citizenry.
Central to research in this domain are the following key areas:
- Beyond Crisis
- Leadership, Regulation and Governance
- Innovation in Financial Services.
