End of Study Reports

HREC End of Study Reports

Only applicable to research involving human subjects.

All researchers who have received approval from either of the UCD Human Research Ethics Committees are obliged, at the end of their study, to complete an End of Study Report.  This can be done in one of two ways:

1) Complete and submit the  HR6 HREC End of Study Report  as a pdf attachment by email to hrec@ucd.ie. or

2) Complete an automated HREC End of Study Report form here.

Ethical approval is granted on condition that the researcher ensures that, in compliance with the Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003, all data (if applicable) will be managed in accordance with the researchers application. Researchers will confirm this in their End of Study Report, or indicate when the archiving or destruction of data will occur and how this will be communicated to the Human Research Ethics Committee.
