SPIRe launches the first programme in Ireland to focus on the impact of gender on domestic and international politics.

The School of Politics and International Relations is now accepting applications for a new MA programme.

The MA in Gender, Politics and International Relations is a one-year intensive course that prepares you for a career in research, policy, or advocacy in international organisations, governmental and non-governmental bodies, or academia.

This programme investigates the ways in which gender is implicated in the structure, practice, and theorising of politics. The programme explores the ways in which gender identity impacts on individual and group interactions with the domestic political system and global politics. It also recognises that national and international political structures are gendered and that this effects power relations, political behaviour, and public policies.  For further information on the programme, please contact Dr Dawn Walsh at dawn.walsh@ucd.ie  Applications can be made online here  The full-time programme code is W458, the part-time programme code is W459.
