Registration 2013/14 information sessions for staff
In preparation for Registration 2013/14, Registry will host 3 information sessions aimed at staff who support students during the registration season. Each session will update on operational planning, new developments, major changes and key messages from Registry, IT Services, Residences, UCARD and Orientation. The first session will take place next Wednesday, 5 June from 12.00-1.00pm in room NT1, Lower Ground Floor, Newman Building. Details of the July and August sessions can be found on the Registry website.

Pilot range of online library guides launched
UCD Library has launched a range of online guides to complement its website. These are built using the widely implemented LibGuides hosted solution and the first set of pilot guides including art subject guides, general guides and researcher support guides in the areas of bibliometrics, maps and GIS. These can be viewed at libguides.ucd.ie and are linked extensively from our website. For queries about linking to these guides or embedding them on other websites or in Blackboard please get in touch with the guide authors.

UCD Research Chinese micro-site launched
Building on UCD's successful on-going collaborations in China, UCD Research has launched a Chinese micro-site to further promote and position UCD and its research to a Chinese audience. The Chinese micro-site features information on UCD's strategic research priorities, our position as a national research leader and our success as a global university. UCD Multi Sport Summer Camp 2013
UCD Multi Sport Summer Camp will run for 8 weeks; week 1 Monday July 1st - week 8 Monday 19th August. It caters for children 4-12 years with a range of sports & activities on offer. The camp runs from 10am-2.30pm and will also offer pre/post camp care. To book please see our website

Explore UCD Campus Tours – have you visitors on campus this summer?
If you are organising conferences or seminars, or have visitors on campus please feel free to provide your visitors with an Explore UCD map and guide, bring them on a tour or book them on an organised tour. Summer IT Services for Staff
This summer there are a number of extra IT services that staff can avail of including: a new pilot device setup service; the use of PC labs for training; FREE MS Office training including Access, Excel and PowerPoint and a laptop loan service of up to 15 laptops should you require them for seminars.
