As we welcome our continuing back to UCD and back to campus we want to make sure you know how to find your way around, make friends and get the support you need as part of the UCD Community
We will offer all Stage 2 students a campus tour. To make sure you get a tour, firstly ask your existing Peer Mentor (from Sept 2020). If they aren’t available to give you a tour, you can book a campus tour online.
Welcome Back Pack
We want to make you feel part of the UCD Community and make sure you have a UCD Scarf and some other goodies to help you feel at home. We’re working with our friends in the Student Union to make sure you get a Welcome backpack. You can collect them from the Student's Union in the Quad near the Student Centre.
Programme related events
The team from your programme of study will contact you directly (via your UCD Connect email) to let you know what events you have related to your programmes. If you need to ask a question this web page will help you find the right person to ask.
Events Throughout Autumn Trimester
There will be loads of events taking place in the first week back to teaching from 13 September. Some online and some on campus. Keep up with the full list of events. We also have programmes running for the whole trimester so keep an eye on the “whats on” emails and the events calendar to see what suits you
Getting involved in UCD Student Life
The first few weeks of term are important in making connections and getting involved in Student Clubs and Societies. Keep an eye out for the UCD Sports Expo (week of 20 September) UCD Freshers Week (Societies week of 27 September) and the UCDSU engagement events throughout the month of September. Keep an eye on www.ucd.ie/events to see specific information.
