Note: The Millennium Compliancy test can either be run from either floppy disk or from the Network. A floppy disk containing the Millennium Compliancy testing software can be obtained (after 12 February) from the Secretary of your department or by typing the command MAKEFLOP at the H: prompt.
BEFORE RUNNING THE TEST QUIT OUT OF WINDOWS

Login to your network account.
At the prompt type TFTEST and press [ENTER] |
The following screen will appear
The TF2000 testing software is copied to your C: drive into the directory \TF2000. After a few moments the following screen is displayed.
Before running the test remove any disk from your floppy disk drives.
To begin running the test press 
or to Exit press 
.
The test requires no further interaction until it has completed. Your PC will be restarted 4 times during the tests. When the test has completed you will be presented with a screen depending on the result of the test.
If your PC passed the test then goto "My
PC Passed the Test" otherwise goto "My
PC Failed the Test".
If you would like to view the results of the test and check which of
the particular tests failed then press 
The following screen is displayed
The above example shows the results from a PC where the internal clock failed to update the century correctly. Here the MS-DOS clock correctly updated the century to 2000.
You can scroll through the results by using the

To Quit press the

From here you can install the software solution by pressing 
or Exit by pressing .
Note
that if you exit and do not install the software solution then your PC
is NOT Millennium Compliant and may not function as expected after December
31st 1999.
Install the solution by pressing .

In order for the software solution to take effect you must restart
your PC by pressing

If you wish to restart your computer at a later stage simply press
to Exit.
To View the results of the test the press
key. The following screen is displayed
The above example shows the results for a PC that passed the test and is fully Millennium Compliant.
