All new staff will be requested to upload a passport sized photograph as part of their registration process. This photo will be used as photographic identification on your card and on our Staff Database. You can upload your photo in sisweb by opening the 'infohub' tab and then clicking 'My Profile'.
Staff Ucards can be requested by emailing email@example.com, where we will arrange collection or postage of your Ucard.
Before getting your staff card you must ensure you have returned all of your relevant documents to Human Resources and that you have been added to or updated on the staff system, as it is not possible to print a Ucard until this has been conpleted.
DO NOT top-up your Ucard account before getting your first physical card!
Existing staff already have a photo on the system and are not required to upload a new photo. If a member of staff requires a replacement card due to loss or damage, email firstname.lastname@example.org, requesting the replacement and including your staff number.
What can I use it for?
Ucard is the official identification card for UCD staff. You can use it as an access card anywhere you see the Ucard symbol next to a pay or service point which currently includes:
- CopiPrint (Print, Copy & Scanning)
- Used as an Electronic Purse
- Access to UCD Staff Residences, UCD Sports & Fitness and the Library
- Time and Attendance
