UCard distribution for September 2022, will commence in Building 71 on the 5th 0f September running up to the 23rd of September,
All student cohorts will be captured in the distribution process,
Below you will find all the necessary information that outlines the distribution process for all student cohorts
Please Note:
The Ucard bureau will communicate with Student using their UCDconnect email accounts, Please ensure Students are monitoring this email account.
All Students staying in Campus Residences will start to arrive in early September and will continue to arrive throughout September. The UCard Bureau will email these students before their arrival date with instructions on the task to be completed to print their UCard. They will be informed they will receive their UCard during Check-in.
Undergraduate students will receive an email from the UCard bureau on the 15th of September informing them of the process for receiving their UCard and the Task to be completed before their UCard can be printed. The UCard Bureau will begin printing UCard for Undergraduate students. Once the UCard has been printed, the student will receive a follow-up email inviting them to come to building 71 at their scheduled time, based on the UCard collection calendar, to collect their UCard.
Undergraduate UCard distribution is scheduled to begin on the 19th of September.
Postgraduate Students will receive an email on the 5th of September, informing them of the process for receiving their UCard and the Task to be completed before their UCard can be printed. The UCard Bureau will begin printing UCard for Postgraduate students. Once the UCard has been printed, the student will receive a follow-up email inviting them to come to building 71 at their convenience, to collect their UCard.
Postgraduate Student UCard distribution will begin on the 12th of September
Some schools have orientation activities planned for Postgrads students before the 12th of September and have scheduled UCard collection for their postgrad students on these dates. If you wish to do something similar, please contact the UCard bureau with the details, we are happy to accommodate these requests.
Study Abroad Erasmus and Exchange Students who are staying in Campus accommodation will receive their UCard during check-in. Students not staying on Campus will be included in the undergraduate collection process.
HDip, Grad Cert, Prof Cert and Blended Learning Students will be captured in the Post Graduate collection process
The UCard bureau is currently engaging with the Online schools and Affiliated Colleges.
This Cohort of Students is not based on the UCD Campus, Therefore when their UCard is printed, it will be sent to the school for Distribution.
