Qualified as a veterinary Surgeon in 1964. Joined Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 1966 having studied for a Masters degree in Genetics at University of Edinburgh. Subsequent to my PhD, spent Kellogg foundation Fellowship at the University of California at Davis 1970-1971. Returned to teach and research in animal breeding and Genetics, specifically animal bloodtyping and DNA parentage analysis.
