Applications are invited from graduates in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Science or Biotechnology to undertake research into "Reproductive mechanisms regulating ovulation rate in ewes". The appointed candidate will be required to register for a Higher Degree and will be based mainly in Teagasc Athenry Research Centre, Co. Galway, Ireland and also in the Department of Animal Husbandry and Production, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University College Dublin.

Postgraduate Research Position in Animal Welfare

Teagasc Walsh Fellowship
A postgraduate research position is available to study the effects of design and management of out-wintering pads on the health and welfare of dairy cows. The successful applicant will register for a Masters degree at the Department of Animal Husbandry and Production. The research will be conducted at Teagasc, Moorepark, Fermoy Co. Cork, and jointly supervised by Dr Alison Hanlon and Dr Laura Boyle.
