Brenda Castles is a vet and concertina player who has several All-Ireland Fleadh titles to her name in both solo and group competitions. She has released two critically acclaimed albums of traditional Irish music.

Professor John Daniel Collins (Dan) was Professor Emeritus of Farm Animal Clinical Studies, the first Director of the Centre for Veterinary Epidemiology and Risk Analysis, and a former Chair of the Centre for Food Safety.

Dr Ann Derwin is Ireland's Ambassador to China and was formerly Chief Economist at the Department of Agriculture and Director General, Global Irish Services, in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Brian Dooher won three All-Irelands, five Ulster Championships and two National League titles with the Tyrone senior football team from 1995 to 2011. He is joint manager of the 2021 All-Ireland winning Tyrone senior football team and is also Deputy Chief Veterinary Officer in Northern Ireland.

Margaret Doyle is a small animal vet and a forensic vet who works with law enforcement and prosecutors on animal cruelty cases. She established Canada’s first veterinary forensic consulting firm in 2010.

Samantha Feighery is Lead Clinical Nurse at Rossdales Equine Hospital, Newmarket in the UK where she specialises in neonatal and intensive care nursing.

Professor Noel Fitzpatrick is a world-class orthopaedic-neuro veterinary surgeon and managing director of one of the UK's largest veterinary referral centres, Fitzpatrick Referrals.

Mary Geary is the founding vet and owner of Park Lane Vets. Mary is proud to be a member of the veterinary profession and enjoys the challenges and rewards of working with people and their pets.

Hester McAllister, a former UCDVH Clinical Director, was the first President of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging and also served as Director of the International Veterinary Radiology Association.

Dr Perpetua McNamee's career has focused on poultry, with her expertise being utilised at home and abroad. She served as Deputy Chief Veterinary Officer in Northern Ireland until her recent retirement.

Dr Susie Mitchell, a diplomate of the European Council of Aquatic Animal Health, has worked almost exclusively in aquatic animal medicine since graduating. She is a keen track cyclist and has twice won gold at the World Masters Track Cycling Championships.

Shauna O'Brien is a mixed practice vet in Ontario where she received the OVMA Rising Star Award for demonstrating leadership in practice and in the community. She also volunteers with wildlife and conservation organisations.

John M. Oxx is a racehorse trainer with almost 2000 winners to his name, including Sea the Stars, winner of the Epsom Derby, the Eclipse Stakes, the Irish Champion Stakes and the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.

Patricia Reilly is Deputy Chief Veterinary Officer at the Department of Agriculture. She has had a varied international career to date, including serving as Ireland’s first Agricultural Attaché to Central Europe.

Dr Des Rice is a vet who specialised in livestock nutrition and received an OBE in 2004 for services to the Agrifood Industry. He retrained as a Business Coach and Psychotherapist, providing coaching and mentoring services.

Fr Michael Riordan is a Columban missionary and Chairman of the Isidore Development Association in South Korea, a non profit organisation originally set up to help people become financially independent and which now supports education and runs social welfare projects.

Professors John & Peter Timoney are internationally recognised experts in infectious diseases. Based in the University of Kentucky for many years, John was Keeneland Chair of Infectious Diseases and Peter served as Director of the Maxwell H. Gluck Equine Research Center.

Christopher Ulrich is the owner of Huron Veterinary Hospital, Massachusetts, which has a strong mission of community-based veterinary medicine, working closely with local shelters and animal control departments. He was named one of the Best of Boston Veterinarians in 2010.

Dr Patrick Wall is Professor of Public Health in UCD. He was formerly CEO of the Food Safety Authority, Chairperson of the European Food Safety Authority and Chairman of Horse Sport Ireland.

Dermot Weld is one of Ireland’s leading racehorse trainers, having trained over 4000 winners globally. He has won all five of the Irish Classics and twenty five European Classics and has been named Champion Trainer of Ireland on nine occasions.
