International migration is an increasingly important research topic. The CESSDA Training Group therefore offers this introductory webinar for anyone interested in data on migration.A short introduction will cover how to find and access data from CESSDA data archives. Then, our expert speakers, Kitty Lymperopoulou (University of Manchester) and Reinhard Schunck (GESIS Leibniz Institute for Social Sciences), will introduce different sources of data on migration, give research examples, and discuss some of the challenges of working with the data.
Moderated and organised by Jennifer Buckley from the UK Data Service and Anna Schwickerath from GESIS, the webinar will last approximately 60 minutes including at least 15 minutes for questions.
The webinar is funded by CESSDA and is free of charge for participants.
Booking

The CESSDA-ERIC provides six bursaries of up to €800 per person towards the travel and accommodation cost of attending this workshop in order to encourage wider participation from early-career researchers and PhD students to this event.
