Alumnus Dr Ethan Waisberg wins Breakthrough Competition at 18th YES Meeting

Congratulations to recent UCD School of Medicine alumnus Dr Ethan Waisberg on winning First Prize at the 18th Young European Scientists (YES) Meeting Breakthrough Competition held in Portugal. Ethan won for his work titled "Using Space Medicine Technology to Reduce Preventable Blindness". 

The Breakthrough Competition is an international competition focused on the creation of an original, innovative, and applicable technological idea to solve problems relating to human diseases. Ethan also won the U21 Provost Award with his project.
