Pulmonary Hypertension Association - Ireland, World Record Attempt

Unfortunately, Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) is often misdiagnosed and mistaken for less serious conditions such as asthma. The Mater Hospital is the only centre of excellence in Ireland. The main aim of this event is to raise awareness of Pulmonary Hypertension and it is being funded by PH Europe. Regina Prenderville, from the PH Association - Ireland said

We are indebted to the GAA who have allowed us hold this event in their grounds as part of our awareness campaign. It is good for patients, their families & carers to meet on a social basis to support each other. We hope this event will raise awareness of the condition among the general public.
