The Royal Medical Society of Edinburgh’s Student Conference 2015 will be held on Saturday, 7th March, at the University of Edinburgh.
Students are invited to submit their research for presentation at the Conference. Submitted abstracts will be judged by professionals from a variety of medical specialties. Successful students will be offered the opportunity to present their research either through a poster or oral presentation. On the day, a panel of medical professionals will judge students’ work with the best being awarded prizes.
The proposed theme this year is Global Health (with guest speakers on the day from this field). However, we welcome clinical, surgical, scientific, and public health presentations, both in oral and poster form.
The abstract submission deadline is 30th January.
Note that abstracts should be no more than 300 words. Candidates successful in applying for oral presentations will not be required to produce a poster but will instead be required to produce a PowerPoint presentation, which will last at most 15 minutes, with 5 minutes for questions. Candidates who are unsuccessful in applying for an oral presentation may still be considered for a poster presentation.
