Biography

Vincenzo was a full time PhD student (2016-2020) and was awarded a PhD in employment relations in December 2020. The research was funded through a Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship by the Irish Research Council. He holds a BA in Economics and Finance from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, and an MA in Economics from the University of Torino. Upon the completion of the Allievi Honors Program, he was also awarded an MA in Economics from the Collegio Carlo Alberto.

 

Before joining UCD, he worked as a research trainee at the Torino branch of the Bank of Italy and the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound). His research contributes to understanding the effect of the new European economic governance on industrial relations. Other research interests include labour in the gig economy and the structural changes in European labour markets.

 

He is a member of the ERC research project “European Unions”, led by Prof Roland Erne.
