Pablo Mukherjee (University of Warwick)

Pablo Mukherjee is Professor in English and Comparative Literature at the University of Warwick. He is the author of Natural Disasters and Victorian Empire: Famines, Fevers and the Literary Cultures of South Asia (2013); Postcolonial Environments: Nature, Culture and the Contemporary Indian Novel in English (2010); and Crime and Empire: The Colony in Nineteenth-Century Fictions of Crime (2003). His research interests include imperial/colonial literatures and cultures; postcolonial theory and literatures; Victorian literature; crime fiction; travel writing; environmental theory and criticism; science fiction; and comparative and world literary systems.
