UCD Library supports ORCID researcher ID system UCD Library is promoting the ORCID researcher ID system during the month of March. A full range of promotional materials is available, and the UCD Ambassador for ORCID, Michael Ladisch, UCD Library, can provide short presentations on request and also provide 1to1 support for individuals. This unique ID scheme for researchers is recommended for all those at PhD level and above and is becoming a requirement of funding bodies and publishers. Improved access to information on Registry site It's now much easier to search for staff in Registry by visiting the staff directory on our website. Search by role, keyword, team or name (Connect login required). Other recent website developments include a new Registry key dates calendar and an improved search facility in our A-Z. |

Taxsaver Travel Pass Scheme April 2014 The scheme, commencing 1st April 2014, is open to staff commuting by Bus, Dart, Luas and Rail and is open to permanent staff members and employees on a contract that covers the twelve months of the travel pass scheme. Cycle to Work Scheme April 2014 The scheme for April 2014, which is open to all permanent, indefinite duration and fixed term contract staff, is now taking applications and allows staff to purchase a bicycle and associated equipment tax free up to the value of €1,000. The exemption from income tax in respect of benefit-in-kind can only be availed of once in any five year period. The closing date for the scheme commencing in April is 5pm on Wednesday 12th March 2014. For further information click here. |

UCD Sport Multi-Sports Easter Camp 2014 The camp will run from Monday 14th - Thursday 17th April, and Tuesday 22nd - Friday 25th April. It caters for children 4-12 years with a range of sports & activities on offer. The camp runs from 10am-2.30pm and we will also offer our popular pre/post camp care.
