CHAS Celebrates International Men's Day 2019

Tuesday the 19th of November was International Men's Day 2019. To mark the day, The College of Health and Agricultural Sciences held an event that included light refreshments, a fabulous cake, balloons and a healthy walk around UCD's woodland area. 

This took place in the Kevin Barry Gallery in the Charles Intitute, located beside the Health Sciences Building.

The gorgeous woodland walk was then led by Brian Mullins, who is the UCD Director of Sport/Health Promotion.

The College of Health and Agricultural Sciences is extremely committed in promoting the UCD Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) vision. This includes promoting a culture of 'dignity, wellbeing and respect for all' as well as extablishing a dedication in continuing to be a diverse and inclusive community for all staff and students.

CHAS delighted in hosting an event in aid of supporting men's health and wellbeing and looks forward to many more similar events in the future.
