Data Analytics Strategy

A refreshed analytics strategy for UCD

webteam

Project Overview

UCD’s existing Analytics approach is in place since 2019.  Several drivers point to the need to formulate a new Data Analytics Strategy and establish a refreshed roadmap for analytics in UCD.
An effective Data Analytics Strategy can empower the university to improve the availability of information, enhance user experience, and exploit advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence.

Current Status: Project Steering Committee Terms of Reference and Proposed Membership approved by UMT IT Strategy Group (ITSG), February 8th 2024.

Next Steps

The project team will conduct a broad consultative process engaging with key UCD stakeholders and analytics experts, to help evaluate the role of data analytics in the organisation, define data and analytics governance and design the technical architecture required.

If you would like to discuss the Data Analytics Strategy or get involved, please contact the project manager ((opens in a new window)amy.carroll@ucd.ie)
