24 September 2025

The CEMS Master in International Management (MIM) – which the (opens in a new window)UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School is the only business school in Ireland to offer – has been ranked 4th in the world in the QS Master in Management Ranking 2026.

Climbing six places in the rankings, the course achieved an impressive overall score of 92.7/100. It also tied in first place worldwide in value for money, and scored ninth in the world for employability.

CEMS is a global alliance of 33 leading business schools and more than 70 multinational organisations and NGOs. The UCD Smurfit School is the only Irish school within this elite community.

The CEMS Master in International Management is devised by both academic and business leaders, bridging university education and business expertise.

It provides insight into management best practices via seminars, core courses, electives, language teaching and internships.

“We’re proud that the CEMS Master in International Management continues to rise up the QS rankings,” said Nicole de Fontaines, Executive Director of CEMS.

“This recognition reflects the strength of our unique alliance, which offers students unbeatable value for money and outstanding career opportunities.”

The UCD Smurfit School offers a dual degree programme, awarding an (opens in a new window)MSc in International Management and a Masters in International Management (MIM) from CEMS. The Masters is ranked 33rd in the world by the Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking 2025.

The programme provides a bridge between the academic and corporate worlds, combining the top-level theory of leading academics from the member schools and in-the-field expertise of corporate partners of the CEMS alliance.

It is targeted at graduates with a business or economics background and the ambition to become international business managers and leaders, and includes a mandatory semester abroad and international networking events.
