Valerio Angeletti holds a PhD (Hons) in Comparative Literature (Trento). His research interests include history of ideas, memory studies and cultural heritage, exile studies and its correlation with utopia, and cultural mediators between Italy and the United States of America. At present, he is Gerda Henkel Stiftung Postdoctoral Fellow within the project “When Nationalism Fails. A Comparative Study of Holocaust Museums in ex-Collaborationist Countries” led by Siniša Malešević at University College Dublin (UCD), Centre for War Studies. His first book, titled ‘L'età di Whitman’ e l’esilio: l’America inedita di Paolo Milano, is forthcoming for Mimesis Edizioni. He is also in the scientific committee of SIR (Seminario Internazionale sul Romanzo).
