Multiple stressors in freshwater ecosystems: impacts, resilience, mitigation will be presented by Dr Marcin Penk from UCD School of Biology and Environmental Science.

Overview

This week's presentation will focus on multiple stressors in freshwater ecosystems, featuring a selection of past work on their impacts as well as the pitfalls in detecting them. In addition, this talk will also look at ongoing research on resilience and mitigation, and an introduction to a new experimental pond mesocosm system.
