Trees outside the forest
Trees Outside the Forest addresses the need for better planning of trees, policy for trees and research into trees in urban situations (the urban forest) and rural ones (trees, hedgerows and informal woodlands).
Centre for Experimental Archaeology and Material Culture

Mapping Green Dublin
The Mapping Green Dublin research project team mapped the trees in Dublin City Council to complement existing information on public green areas, to explore urban green infrastructure and provide a context for assessing the Dublin 8 study area.
Lamb-Clarke Collection
UCD is home to the Lamb-Clarke Irish Historical Apple collection. The collection comprises some 85 cultivars of culinary and dessert apples, with around 45 being uniquely Irish.
Powerscourt Collection
The Powerscourt Collection of World Timbers includes almost 900 samples of timber from across the world. It is a xylarium collection which is a specialized botanical collection focused on wood (xylem tissue) samples, generally used for wood identification, research and educational purposes.
