Join Dr Emma Dorris, Liam Cleere and Prof Thilo Kroll for lunch and seminar in celebration of the launch of their book "(opens in a new window)Building the ecosystem for engaged research". This book was written with research administrators, university leadership, policy professionals, research funders, community-based organisations and non-governmental organisations in mind. Held in person, the author panel will be moderated by Joanne Cantwell, RTE, with closing remarks from Prof Orla Feely, President of UCD.

Do you use an engaged research approach, or would like to? Do you want to learn how to to understand users, challenge assumptions, redefine problems and create innovative solutions? Then join us on 30th April and 21st May to learn how to use Design Thinking in your research.

We are delighted to have (opens in a new window)Fergal Brophy deliver this practical training session taking place over two days. Working in multidisciplinary teams you will learn design thinking and how to apply it in your research.
