Bursar Update - 27th January 2025

I am writing to you today to give you an update on the FinPOST programme.
The FinPOST programme has completed its ‘end to end testing’ phase, where the functionality of our new finance system has been thoroughly tested across all business processes from beginning to end.
As you are aware, we were planning to go live in April on our new Workday system. There is likely to be a delay on this because the testing of the draft system has shown it needs more work to be done on it. This work is scheduled to be complete by the end of February. After that we plan on spending the month of March re-testing. This testing will give us a good idea of how successful this rebuild has been. Delays of this nature are not uncommon in a programme of this scale and significance, despite this delay, the programme is going well and is structured in a such a way to allow us to measure and resolve these problems.
I plan on holding a town hall early in March over Zoom, where I can provide you with an update on progress and a revised go live timeframe.
