UCD Lyons Farm hosts U.S. delegations to advance transatlantic partnerships in agriculture, One Health, and innovation.
August 21, 2025 — together with our partner Enterprise Ireland, we were delighted to welcome the Governor of Iowa State and First Gentleman, delegations from Iowa State University and Kansas State University, and our industry partners Dairymaster, EasyFix, JFC Agri, and Bimeda to UCD Lyons Farm for the One Health AgTech Summit.
The visit formed part of the wider Aer Lingus College Football Classic events, but the focus at Lyons Farm was firmly on building meaningful transatlantic partnerships in agriculture and One Health.
The Summit brought together leading researchers, innovators, and entrepreneurs from Ireland and the U.S. to explore shared priorities:

Ireland is recognised globally as a trusted leader in sustainable agri-tech, exporting to over 140 countries with annual global sales exceeding €1 billion. Yesterday’s gathering highlighted the strength of our innovation ecosystem and our shared commitment to collaboration, sustainability, and global impact.
UCD Lyons Farm served as a unique platform connecting UCD, Iowa State University, and Kansas State University with Enterprise Ireland and leading agri-tech companies. By bringing together universities, industry, and enterprise, the Summit fostered meaningful collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation, building partnerships that will drive progress in agriculture and One Health across Ireland, the United States, and beyond.
