CRC Translational Research and Innovation
Collaborate with the CRC Translational Research and Innovation Team
The CRC Translational Research and Innovation Team is dedicated to bridging the gap between laboratory discoveries and clinical applications. Located within the UCD Clinical Research Centre, our mission is to accelerate the translation of innovative science into real-world impact for patients.
The role of our Translational Research and Innovation Team is to:
- Foster collaborations across disciplines to advance discovery and innovation.
- Provide access to core laboratory facilities for biomarker detection and analysis.
- Enable the collection, storage, and use of biological samples through our biobanking expertise.
- Support researchers with scientific, methodological, and data expertise.
- Guide researchers in securing funding through grant writing support and partnership development.
We work with academic investigators, clinical research networks, healthcare providers, and industry partners to ensure that translational research at UCD delivers measurable impact for patients and society.
The CRC Translational Research and Innovation Team will deliver these activities through our dedicated services:
Our core lab supports biomarker detection, molecular profiling, and advanced analysis, ensuring high-quality and reproducible results.
We provide comprehensive biobanking services, including the collection, storage, and management of biological samples, enabling large-scale and long-term research studies.
Our team offers support in experimental design, data management and statistical analysis.
We help researchers identify collaborators, build partnerships, and develop competitive grant applications to maximise research opportunities.
