STANDARDIZE Workshop 1.0

On 17th June 2025, experts from academia, industry, and government convened at the UCD Civil Engineering Building for the STANDARDIZE Workshop, hosted by Principal Investigator Dr. Daniel McCrum. This collaborative event marks as one of milestone of the STANDARDIZE Project – an initiative dedicated to the creation of open-access, building regulation-compliant standardised design details for residential buildings using Modern Methods of Construction (MMC).
The project is proudly funded by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment (DETE) and supported by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage.
This first workshop represents a critical step in aligning diverse expertise and practical knowledge toward a common goal of enhancing the efficiency, quality, and compliance of residential MMC in Ireland.
