School Visit

Discover UCD in Your Classroom

The UCD Schools Liaison team are available to visit schools and deliver talks to students in the classroom to help supplement the information provided in print and online. Our presentation promotes all UCD programmes, together with information on CAO and college life in general.

We can also offer schools online virtual presentations as an alternative to school visits. Specific course talks by individual colleges may also be available on request. We also endeavour to attend as many Careers Fairs & Exhibitions as possible so please get in touch if you would like us to attend a fair in your school.

If you would like to request a school visit, please fill out our schools liaison request form below.

If you would like UCD to visit your school, please complete our Schools Liaison form below. A member of our Schools Liaison team will be in touch. While we aim to visit as many schools as possible each year, the number of visits we can accommodate is limited. Unfortunately, this means we cannot guarantee every request.

A UCD Alumni ambassador (via the Schools Liaison team) visits your school and gives a presentation about UCD — covering campus life, facilities and courses.

The talks are primarily aimed at 5th and 6th year students.

Yes — if an in-school visit is impractical, UCD offers virtual (online) presentations as an alternative.

It includes promotions of all UCD programmes, information on CAO, general college life, campus facilities, etc.

Yes. While we aim to visit as many schools as possible each year, there are limits to the number of school visits we can accommodate during the academic year. Unfortunately, this means we cannot guarantee every request.

We encourage schools to get in touch early in the school year to increase the chance of securing a visit on their preferred date.

Usually a classroom/Hall with a projector / screen and internet access (if showing slides or virtual content) will suffice.

The presentation lasts approximately 45 minutes.
