Graduate Entry to Medicine Open Evening

Through Graduate Entry to Medicine, students have another opportunity to pursue a career in the medical profession. Open to graduates of any discipline who hold a 2:1 Honours degree, this four-year programme takes a patient-centred approach to the study of medicine.

As well as attending course lectures, students learn in small groups, under the tuition of highly qualified clinical tutors. This allows a practical focus, with strong links to UCD’s teaching partners. The general major teaching hospitals are the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital and St Vincent’s University Hospital, based in Dublin.

UCD School of Medicine & Medical Science invites prospective applicants for Graduate Entry to Medicine to an Open Evening Wednesday, 21 January 2009 to find out more about the course.

The Open Evening will include talks from expert medical practioners, and will cover:

  • Information on Course Structure
  • Outline of what to expect in Year 1
  • Q&A with current students
  • Facilities Tour of the UCD Health Sciences Centre

Please register your interest in attending by emailing GEM@ucd.ie

The UCD Health Sciences Centre is building 16 on the UCD Belfield campus map. (www.ucd.ie/maps )
