UCD is at the forefront of leading edge research and teaching activities across a wide range of disciplines. Our current academic leaders are recognised, nationally and internationally, as innovative and creative contributors to their specialist fields. We now intend to build our capabilities further across an exciting range of interdisciplinary themes.
We have identified an initial number of these thematic areas in three of our five Colleges as listed below. These will be of critical importance to the University as it continues to further build its vision as an internationally recognised centre of academic excellence and as a leader in the development of third and fourth level education in Ireland.
