UCD researchers are engaging with communities and legislators to build social structures that foster inclusivity and resilience.

Achieving the SDGs

UCD played a key role in the development of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and was selected as a SDG Champion 2024-2025 by the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications. A UCD study tracking SDG progress across the EU demonstrates that European governments need to considerably accelerate action if the 2030 Agenda is to be achieved.
