Schools/units can still avail of intern placements through JobBridge JobBridge, the National Internship Scheme providing work experience placements for interns, is successfully operating in UCD. The programme for the year 2013/2014 is due to end in June 2014. Schools and units can continue to advertise 6 month internships and will be able to make offers up to 6th December 2013. University Procurement policies and procedures Please remember the need to comply with all University procurement policies and procedures. In particular: know the quotation and tender thresholds; it is important to be aware that if purchases are externally funded, the funding body may stipulate more stringent requirements, such as the need to advertise tenders above €25,000; official UCD purchase order forms should be used for all orders; where the University has put contracts/preferred supplier lists in place, staff are required to utilise them. UCD Sport Centre Fitness Courses A selection of Pilates, Yoga and Zumba courses are running at the Sports Centre this term. Each course has a dedicated instructor who progresses the class each week. UCD Sport Multi Sport Halloween Camp 2013 This camp will run Tuesday 29th October - Friday 1st November. It caters for children 4-12 years with a range of sports & activities on offer. UCD Sport Saturday AM Club 2013 Saturday AM Club is back, catering for children 4-10 years. The club offers a lucky dip of sports and activities each week. The new term started on September 14th, sign ups mid-term are always welcome. The Club runs every Saturday morning of the academic school year, excluding Bank holiday weekends. See our website. |

The taster climbing sessions allow children aged 8 and above to try out our Climbing Wall. Supervised by a UCD Climbing wall staff member, children will be given a taste of what climbing at UCD Climbing Wall involves. Every weekend from 12noon - 1pm, only €15.
