Health Screening Charge (HSC), Reduction/Refund Policy 

A fee of €330 is charged to all students entering:

  • Medicine (DN400 & DN401)
  • Radiography (DN410 & DN411)
  • Physiotherapy (DN420 & X784)
  • MSc in Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics (X820)
  • BSc Biomedical Health and Life Science (DN440)
  • BSc Human Nutrition (DN262)

A refund of €190 will be given to any student who on their initial health screen visit has shown to have completed a full course of Hepatitis B vaccination and where the post-vaccination antibody is above the therapeutic level, indicating protection against Hepatitis B virus. 

Please Note: Students who fail to attend their mandatory Health Screening appointments within the 1st academic year and who miss their allocated slot without extenuating circumstances will need to pay an additional fee of €30.
