We are delighted to announce the seven successful student-led projects selected in the first round of UCDโs Students for Sustainability awards.
Supported by the Higher Education Authorityโs performance funding and UCD Students'โ Union, this initiative empowers students and student societies to lead impactful sustainability projects aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
From participatory food system mapping and sustainable fashion events to creative campaigns on biodiversity, climate awareness and the circular economy (more details below) each project received up to โฌ1,000 to drive positive change on campus and beyond.
These initiatives are a testament to the leadership, creativity and commitment of UCD students in shaping a more sustainable future. Congratulations to all!
